Primary Skills: SQL (Proficient), Tableau (Intermediate), Data Cleaning (Experienced), People Insights & Analytics (Experienced), Python/R (Intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 3+ Months Location: Palo Alto, CA ( - Remote) Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour on W2 #LP Job Summary: We are looking for a Data Analyst II to empower our People Insights, Technology & Analytics team with insightful data analysis to enhance business strategy and support evidence-based decisions, enhancing our business outcomes. The role entails collaborating with a dynamic team of analytics experts, data scientists, and business intelligence specialists to generate actionable insights and optimize decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to execute high-quality data-driven outputs for specific tasks with minimal supervision, effectively communicate insights aligning with business goals, and continuously seek opportunities for enhancing task and process efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to represent stakeholder and People Insights perspectives effectively. • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Utilize visualization tools like Tableau to create impactful data presentations. • Manipulate large data sets to uncover insights, applying proficiency in SQL. • Engage in data storytelling, utilizing visualizations and narratives to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Must-Have Skills: • Proficient in SQL for complex data manipulation. • Experienced in data cleaning and preprocessing for accuracy. • Intermediate skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Domain/Industry Experience: Experience in analytics roles focusing on employee and organizational data is highly preferred. Familiarity with Human Resources technology and tools (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse) and knowledge of GitHub/GitLab would be advantageous.
