Job Title: Data Analyst II (PL/SQL + Python)
Location: Washington, DC 20433
Duration: 8 Month Long Term
Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days per week from Day1
Job Description:
We are seeking a strong Data Analyst with expertise in PL/SQL and Python. The ideal candidate should have a sharp analytical mindset and strong aptitude for understanding, interpreting, and working with complex data. The role involves data analysis, query optimization, and building scripts to support reporting and decision-making.
Key Skills:
• Minimum 8+ yrs. of relevant experience and master's degree plus required industry certificates; or bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experienced IT professional working on large data and reporting applications. – Need to know how large the Datasets was? Someone who can understand and interpret data - Analytically Sharp.
• Need someone who can read data models, infer data flows and write complex queries.
• Expertise in Data Warehouses, Data Marts and operational Data stores.
• Proficient in the use of PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Interact with business stakeholders to gather data, reporting and analytic requirements for financial data sets.
• Perform data analysis, data lineage, and profiling of data from source system to data repositories and reports. Responsible for data mapping to any “to-be” data structures.
• Experienced IT professional working on large data and reporting applications as well a strong understanding of Operational data stores, Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts
• Proficient in the use of PL/SQL and ability to read data models, infer data flows and write complex queries.
