Key Responsibilities- Data and Reporting Analyst II
Data Visualization & Dashboard Development
β’ Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports for executive and operational stakeholders
β’ Create interactive visualizations that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and insights
β’ Establish and enforce visualization best practices and standards across the organization
β’ Optimize dashboard performance for large-scale datasets
Data Analysis & SQL Development
β’ Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data for analysis
β’ Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets to support business objectives
β’ Develop and maintain data models that support reporting needs
Data Quality & Integration
β’ Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and integrity
β’ Review data integrity and movement controls as part of ETL and data engineering processes
β’ Support API integration efforts between applications
Communication & Collaboration
β’ Interpret technical concepts and present key metrics and insights to non-technical stakeholders
β’ Work independently or as part of a cross-functional team
β’ Adapt quickly to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
Experience
β’ 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Tableau (intermediate level)
β’ 2-4 years of experience working with cloud databases such as Snowflake
β’ Experience in data analytics with the ability to identify trends and patterns
β’ Familiarity with ETL and data engineering processes
β’ Some experience with API integration between applications
β’ Basic experience in requirements analysis and project management
β’ 1-2 years of basic object-oriented programming experience
Technical Skills
β’ Tableau: Intermediate proficiency in calculated fields, parameters, table calculations, and dashboard design
β’ SQL: Strong skills in writing complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
β’ Cloud Databases: Working experience with Snowflake or similar platforms
β’ ETL/Data Prep: Familiarity with data pipelines, integrity checks, and movement controls
β’ Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
β’ Programming: Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Domain Knowledge
β’ Basic knowledge of financial compliance data and reporting requirements
Soft Skills
β’ Excellent communicator with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
β’ Self-motivated and proactive with strong critical thinking abilities
β’ Creative problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
β’ Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications
