Job Summary
This role is pivotal in driving informed decision-making through comprehensive economic, financial, and market analysis. The successful candidate will engage in critical tasks such as capacity planning, price and cost modeling, and evaluating returns on investment. Additionally, this position will support the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting efforts related to operating expenses, capital allocation, and resource management. The individual will also be responsible for designing and coordinating the development of systems and tools that align with the dynamic needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Support effective decision-making through economic, financial, and market analysis of critical issues.
• Conduct capacity planning, price and cost modeling, and returns on investment evaluations.
• Assist in capacity forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for operating expenses and capital allocation.
• Design and coordinate the development of systems and tools to adapt to the group's evolving business landscape.
Skills
• Strong analytic skills with a proven ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting.
• Proficient in variance analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Direct experience in operations or capacity planning is advantageous.
• Fluency in standard software including MS Excel; knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
• Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in capacity planning or related fields.
