Role description
Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Analyst III with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $58.00 - $63.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Description: The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the lifecycle of analytical solutions within our product space. This position will be responsible for maintaining the operational performance of the existing systems, while also contributing to future modernization efforts. Responsibilities: • This role will focus on tactical execution, including data extraction, transformation, visualization, and reporting. • The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, Enterprise SAS, SQL, Python, AWS and be comfortable working in an Agile environment. • This position may also include engagement directly with business stakeholders to ensure analytical outputs are aligned with user needs. • The analyst will be part of a collaborative team driving data and analytics transformation. • Assesses complex data systems and programs in support of ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests. • Creates programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data. • Examines data quality, applications, and functions. • Produces output and sustains operation. • Researches new data sources and analytical tools. • Contributes to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation. • Develops awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organization, department, and/or customer. • Uses and supports database applications and analytical tools. • Uses timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systems. • 5-10 years of experience.
