Data Analyst III

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Analyst III with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension. This is a hybrid position. Pay: $56.45 - $61.45/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Description: Needs an automation expert; ideal candidate comes from a Power BI/Python background with some AI training/experience and looking for a career shift; this CW will sit with the team's AI Lead Specialist and will be leading their specific engagements; engagements will be more supportive; automation tracking for Innovation Lab and potentially some AI teams when initial projects wrap up; CW should be a good communicator, collaborative, does not need to be an AI expert but needs knowledge of AI terminology Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related discipline; Or 6 years of prior equivalent work-related experience in lieu of a degree. Work experience in addition to degree: 1-2 years. Job-specific knowledge, skills or abilities: • Working advance knowledge of programming in the Python language. • Working knowledge of building data pipelines for ingestion & transformation. • Good SQL programming skills. • Knowledge in using and building CI/CD pipelines. • Good understanding of Architectural patterns in developing secure automation solutions. • Good team player and understanding of Agile process. • Great communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Power BI Development AND/OR Power Automate Development. • Support, collaborate & work along data scientists to ensure optimal data/model delivery • Good working experience in ETL (SSIS OR Sqoop/Spark) • Expert SQL knowledge (All types of Joins, CTE's, Indexes, Stored Procedures, SQL performance) • Should be familiar with cloud technology, primarily AWS. • Experience in data ingestion from various data sources like SQL Server, Oracle, Hive etc. • Knowledge in docker/MLOPS and its orchestrations Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
