Responsibilities:
β’ Uncover business needs and frame analysis to address key questions.
β’ Leverage SQL, Python, or R to pull and organize data for analysis.
β’ Apply creative problem-solving and statistical methods to find insights in data.
β’ Assess the impacts of potential actions on customers, employees, and the company.
β’ Recommend actions through data storytelling using PowerPoint, Tableau, and clear communication.
β’ Coordinate with stakeholders to implement and measure recommended actions.
β’ Build relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
β’ Continuously improve analytical, technical, and communication skills for career advancement.
β’ Develop subject matter expertise in the business area by understanding strategies, processes, and data.
β’ Guide and mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree or higher in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
β’ 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis.
β’ Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R (will be tested during interviews).
β’ Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau for data visualization.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills in data acquisition, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, and presentation.
β’ Basic knowledge of statistics.
β’ Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to propose strategic recommendations and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
β’ Intellectual curiosity and a drive to uncover insights in data.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
β’ Experience providing data and analytics support, including dashboard creation and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ MBA or Masterβs degree in an analytical field.
β’ Background in Auto Finance or Consumer Lending industries.
β’ Professional experience in areas covered by the Analytics Job Family.
β’ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of statistics.
