Role description
Our client seeks an experienced Data Analyst to join their Finance department for a one-year+ W2 contract. The ideal candidate will work closely with data modelers and other cross-functional teams. Experience with SAP/S/4HANA and involvement in migration projects is essential.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON OUR W2. NO AGENCIES.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with data modelers and other data teams
• Work extensively with SAP/S/4HANA, especially in migration environments
• Perform data mapping, validation, and transformation tasks
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Support financial functions, including GL, AP/AR, FA, and others
• Utilize SQL for data querying and reporting
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S4HANA
• Strong experience in data mapping and data migration projects
• Solid understanding of financial services
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with S/4 HANA is a must
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Preferred:
• Previous experience in the financial services domain
• Familiarity with financial processes like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA)
