Kelly in Partnership with Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Healthcare Data Analyst Description The Market Insight Analyst for Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) support decision-making by generating insights that answer key business questions across markets, technologies, and patient populations. The role involves analyzing datasets to evaluate economic and clinical outcomes, healthcare resource utilization trends related to medical devices and surgical procedures, and ensuring analytic outputs are accurate and reproducible. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: β€’ Utilize real-world data from internal and external sources (claims, EMR, registries, etc.) to address HEMA business questions. β€’ Perform quantitative analyses of treatment patterns, healthcare resource utilization, outcomes, site of care distribution, payor mix, and cost/reimbursement or value drivers across markets and technologies. β€’ Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for HEMA partners. β€’ Apply strong programming, data cleaning, and quality control practices to ensure accuracy and reproducibility of analyses. β€’ Prepare concise, well-structured summaries, reports, and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ Set up queries in SQL/Python, write standardized code, and conduct independent database exploration and quality checks. Required Skills and Experience: β€’ Proficiency in programming languages: SQL, R, SAS (preferred), or Python. β€’ High attention to detail, including routine code annotation and quality checks. β€’ Experience managing, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets. β€’ Experience in health analytics and insights, epidemiology, HEOR, data science, or related fields (minimum 1 year preferred). β€’ Understanding of US healthcare databases (Premier, Medicare Standard Analytic File, Marketscan, or Optum preferred). β€’ Excellent English communication, data storytelling, and documentation skills. β€’ Ability to synthesize and communicate complex data clearly. β€’ Master’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative or health-related field (Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, Health Economics) is required. Preferred Skills and Experience: β€’ Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar. β€’ Direct experience with specific healthcare databases: Premier, Medicare Standard Analytic File, Marketscan, or Optum. β€’ Network experience in the Real World Evidence (RWE) space. β€’ Experience with J&J databases or knowledge of surgical and therapeutic areas. β€’ Ability to independently set up queries and conduct data QC reviews. β€’ Experience collaborating with partners on quality control and analytics projects.
