Join an expansive and ambitious Data & Analytics team, helping to continue to expand a large, Privately Equity owned international company. My Client is a leading distributor of foodservice packaging, industrial packaging and facilities maintenance supplies . As a provider of customized supply chain solutions, the company serves customers in many B2B market segments including supermarkets, grocers, healthcare, education, and restaurants.
Position Summary
Weβre looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics Quality group. In this role, youβll work with information originating from dozens of ERP platforms, turning complex and inconsistent raw inputs into reliable, production-ready datasets. Your contributions will accelerate the organizationβs ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Investigate datasets using statistical and exploratory techniques to reveal trends, patterns, and opportunities.
β’ Manage the full data preparation lifecycle: sourcing, cleaning, structuring, and standardizing information from varied systems.
β’ Design, refine, and support Python-based tools, scripts, and analytical models for ongoing data operations.
β’ Set up and maintain lightweight CI/CD processes to automate recurring analytics tasks and reporting jobs.
β’ Use Git-based workflows to track changes and collaborate with peers on shared codebases.
β’ Partner with internal stakeholders to interpret business needs and translate them into data solutions.
β’ Present findings through visually compelling dashboards, written analysis, and oral briefings.
β’ Assist with deploying analytical models and data transformations into production environments.
β’ Normalize, map, and convert incoming datasets to common formats despite significant variation between sources.
β’ Validate and consolidate acquisition-derived data prior to integrating it into central databases.
Required Qualifications
β’ 4β5 years of experience in a data-focused or analytics-oriented role.
β’ Strong hands-on skill with Python and common data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
β’ Ability to work confidently with structured and semi-structured data, including data cleansing and manipulation.
β’ Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
β’ Experience using Git for code versioning, collaboration, and workflow management.
β’ Understanding of the fundamentals of automated pipelines or CI/CD processes.
β’ Strong analytical thinking with a methodical approach to solving problems.
β’ Clear communication skills suitable for both technical and business audiences.
β’ Collaborative attitude and willingness to continually learn new tools and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
β’ Experience with workflow or orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
β’ Understanding of API-based data exchange and integration workflows.
β’ Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and general DevOps practices.
