Role description
Summary:
MoodysNWC is looking for a data-driven Marketing Data Analyst to help us better understand customer behavior, marketing performance, and business outcomes. In this role, you will analyze customer and campaign data, measure experimentation results, and deliver insights that inform decisions across Marketing, Product, and Digital teams.
This is a hands-on analytics role focused on churn, retention, conversion, and revenue insights—turning data into clear, actionable recommendations rather than just reporting numbers.
Role & Responsibilities
• Analyze customer behavior to identify drivers of churn, retention, and engagement
• Evaluate marketing performance across channels and campaigns
• Partner with stakeholders to define and track key KPIs (conversion, LTV, ROI, etc.)
• Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and digital experiments
• Measure the impact of new marketing initiatives and digital features
• Provide recommendations based on test results and data insights
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI (or similar BI tools)
• Ensure stakeholders have reliable, timely visibility into performance metrics
• Translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources
• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities
• Partner with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and quality
• Quantify the business impact of marketing and digital initiatives
• Support forecasting and business cases with data-backed insights
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Digital teams
Skilla:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in a data analytics role (marketing, customer, or digital analytics preferred)
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
• Solid understanding of statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, confidence intervals)
• Experience in setting up and analyzing A/B tests or experiments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain insights to non-technical audiences
