Computer Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Client's dynamic team. Job at a glance: • This is a long-term contract, with an initial term of 6 months, planned for extension and/or permanent placement • Pay rate is $42-$47/hr W2 + eligible to sign up for benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k) on day 1 • Hybrid position, onsite 3 days/wk and remote 2 days/wk. Can work from hub offices in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Birmingham, Dallas or Phoenix • Seeking candidates with experience in SQL, CA7, Python and nice to have skills include Spark and Hadoop Roles and Responsibilities: • Integrating data into Transaction Data Hub • Supporting existing data flow • New Dev to bring in additional data sources to Trans Data Hub • Coding and testing Job Responsibilities: • Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions • Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes • Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes • Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications • Experience with database technologies • Knowledge of the ETL process • Knowledge of at least one scripting language • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Demonstrated history of success • Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions Technical Skills: • SQL • CA7 • Python Flex Skills: • Spark • Hadoop Soft Skills: • Great communication (team is mostly remote) • Suggest solutions/ Critical thinking and problem solving Degrees/Certifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or equivalent work experience.
