About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our highly efficient contractor team. In this role, you will be instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate actionable insights that will enhance our off-platform advertising business. Your expertise in SQL, Python, and data tools will support existing delivery responsibilities, automate manual workflows, and optimize our data portfolio managed by the Ads CATS team. You will collaborate cross-functionally to improve data processes, assist in audience segmentation, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely within a flexible environment, allowing you to balance productivity and work-life harmony while contributing to a dynamic organization committed to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years) in a relevant business or technical domain
β’ At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL, including data manipulation and analysis
β’ Proficiency in Python programming, with experience using libraries such as NumPy and Pandas to solve business challenges
β’ Experience working with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
β’ Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within team environments on complex projects
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
β’ Manage day-to-day operations of audience building for off-platform advertising using internal tooling
β’ Write efficient SQL queries to troubleshoot issues within the Snowflake data warehouse, optimizing for performance and maintainability
β’ Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns affecting off-platform audiences
β’ Collaborate with the core CATS team to research and implement new audience segmentation methodologies
β’ Execute Shell/Python scripts to automate workflows and support audience enablement processes
β’ Assist in product support and quality assurance by working with developers on automation tools and frameworks
β’ Provide feedback and recommendations for product features and process improvements
β’ Continuously evaluate operational workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and implement necessary changes
