World Wide Technology EMEA. has an opportunity available for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with strong experience in Market Data Platforms specifically Bloomberg to support cost optimization and usage analysis initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Market Data vendors, to analyse terminal usage, streamline reporting, and help manage contracts and licensing efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Market Data Usage Analysis:
β’ Monitor and analyse real-time Bloomberg terminal usage across the organization.
β’ Identify under-utilized or inactive Bloomberg users as part of a phased optimization strategy.
β’ Utilize MMG platform to track detailed terminal/tool/license usage data.
β’ Generate and maintain reports that offer insights into user behaviour and platform engagement.
β’ Reporting & Visualisation:
β’ Create dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Excel to support business decisions.
β’ Develop clear, well-documented data outputs for use by Business Analysts and leadership.
β’ Contracts & Data Governance:
β’ Assist in contract management for market data platforms.
β’ Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and vendor requirements.
β’ Maintain accurate records of terminal allocations, licensing changes, and cancellations.
Required Skills & Experience:
β’ 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a financial services or market data environment.
β’ Strong experience with Bloomberg, including deep functional knowledge of terminals and associated tools.
β’ Proficient in MMG monitoring tools; able to interpret usage data and derive actionable insights.
β’ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.)
β’ Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools for dashboard/report creation.
β’ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
β’ Clear documentation and data entry skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with other market data platforms (e.g., Refinitiv, FactSet) is a plus.
β’ Previous involvement in cost-reduction or vendor management projects.
β’ Understanding of financial services workflows and data licensing models
Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract.
