Data Analyst – Men's First Team

Full Time Beckenham, London (BR3 1RJ) Posted on July 23, 2026 Closes: July 26, 2026 Crystal Palace FC are seeking a Data Analyst to join the First-Team Analysis and Recruitment staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and technically minded individual to help shape the next generation of the club's data capabilities, combining football knowledge, statistical thinking and modern technology to actively assist performance and recruitment decisions. Responsibilities • Support and improve analytical workflows, performing in-depth analysis on diverse datasets from football matches across the world. • Collaborate with the Performance Analysis and Recruitment departments to develop new metrics and enhance understanding of team and player performance. • Develop analytical solutions, including data models, dashboards and visualisations, using modern analytics and reporting technologies. • Present statistically-driven case studies on potential transfer targets. Experience, Skills & Qualifications • Undergraduate degree in a STEM or related quantitative discipline. • Demonstrable proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python. • Experience building data models and creating reports in visualisation software such as Power BI. • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve analytical workflows (desirable). • Experience working with data in the football industry in a similar role (desirable). • A clear interest in football and an awareness of football data analytics and recent trends in data science. • High level of initiative, motivation and attention to detail, with clear communication skills.
