Role description
Job Title: Operations Analyst – SSI Setup (Entry-Level)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite – 5 days/week, 6th floor Uptown)
Contract: 3-month W2 contract (potential extension up to ~6 months)

Calculated Hire is partnering with a leading financial services organization to support a high-priority onboarding initiative within their FX operations environment. This team is focused on migrating and setting up Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) across systems of record to support a large-scale client onboarding effort.
Job Description:
• Execute high-volume, process-driven account setup by inputting Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) into internal systems
• Perform repetitive data entry tasks, including copying and pasting data from Excel into system applications with a high degree of accuracy
• Review and validate data to ensure alignment with SSI requirements and prevent errors
• Leverage Excel for basic filtering and sorting to identify and organize relevant data
• Follow established SOPs and workflows to complete transactional tasks efficiently
• Meet daily productivity targets (approximately 50–75 SSI setups per day)
• Participate in team training sessions and ongoing check-ins to maintain quality and consistency
• Communicate workload status, challenges, and trends to team leads as needed
Required Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
• Ability to stay focused and motivated in a high-volume, routine-based environment
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, sorting, navigating spreadsheets)
• Comfortable with data entry and working across multiple systems
• Open to feedback and able to quickly adjust to process improvements
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
• Exposure to banking, financial services, or operations environments
• Familiarity with Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs)
• Basic understanding of FX operations or SWIFT/payment processing
Required Qualifications:
• No degree required; open to recent graduates or entry-level candidates
• Prior experience in data entry, administrative, or operational roles is a plus but not required
• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Charlotte, NC
• Availability to start immediately and commit to full contract duration
