Kforce has a client in need of a Data Analyst contractor for a remote role. Summary: This position focuses on designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting application programs and data processes across the enterprise. The role involves interfacing with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and provide subject matter expertise to support problem-solving efforts. Responsibilities:
β’ Data Analyst will design, develop, maintain, and support application programs in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
β’ Create reports using SQL queries to extract data from SQL Server databases, leveraging tools like SQL Server Management Studio
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and SSRS
β’ Monitor and support systems, including occasional after-hours support
β’ Facilitate requirements gathering and document system specifications
β’ Implement new and enhanced system functionality, including custom code and configuration
β’ Ensure smooth transitions from development to operations, including documentation and monitoring tools
β’ As a Data Analyst, you will provide regular status updates and proactively address issues and risks
β’ Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to prioritize work
β’ Build strong working relationships across teams and departments
β’ Be available during critical issue resolution and project milestones
β’ Work with application owners and IT teams to deliver technical solutions
β’ Identify and recommend options and alternatives for robust infrastructure
β’ Modify procedures to solve problems considering system limitations and integration needs
β’ Assist in configuring hardware/software for application environments
β’ Stay current with relevant technologies and best practices
Working Conditions

β’ Standard work week with occasional overtime
Requirements
β’ 2+ years of experience designing and implementing ETL solutions (SSIS preferred)
β’ 2+ years of experience with data integration in SQL Server environments
β’ 1+ year of experience with high-volume data exchange and transaction processing systems
β’ Experience with manual testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
β’ Familiarity with SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, Visual Studio, or other reporting platforms
β’ Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
β’ Knowledge of ETL best practices
β’ Proficiency in writing stored procedures, T-SQL, functions, and SQL queries
β’ Strong SQL development skills
β’ Ability to estimate and deliver work assignments accurately
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
