DATA ANALYST
Location: Wilmington, DE

Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support chemical and regulatory data management, reporting, data validation, and cross-functional analytics needs.
This role leverages SQL scripting to manage chemical databases, automate reporting, validate data accuracy, and support cross-functional analytics needs. The Data Analyst will also support Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and product labeling activities in compliance with GHS and applicable regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Develop, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labeling in compliance with GHS and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute SQL scripts to extract, transform, and analyze chemical and regulatory data from enterprise databases.
• Collaborate with IT and WERCS to optimize database structure, implement data quality controls, and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Redevelop SDSs and labels for Project Foxtrot, resulting in legal entity and branding changes.
• Support Project Foxtrot and resource support requests for high-volume SDS and label projects and the Food Ingredients divestiture.
• Support chemical database management, reporting, data validation, and cross-functional analytics needs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, such as chemistry, toxicology, environmental science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within a corporate or consulting firm.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex information and identify practical solutions.
• Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and clearly communicate technical or regulatory information to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to maintain productivity and accountability in a remote working environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and regulatory compliance systems such as UL WERCS for SDS authoring activities.
• Knowledge of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) requirements, including hazard classification.
