About the Role We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a fast‑paced Product & Technology Analytics organization. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that guide strategic business decisions across digital products, personalization initiatives, and content or merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems with incomplete information, excels at storytelling with data, and is highly independent—able to manage analytics projects end‑to‑end with little oversight. You will partner closely with product, marketing, and technology stakeholders to design experiments, analyze behavior, and deliver insights that drive measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities Experimentation & A/B Testing • Design, analyze, and interpret experiments across digital products and platforms • Partner with stakeholders to ensure experiments are designed correctly and deliver meaningful insights • Communicate test results clearly, including recommendations backed by data Business Performance Reporting & Visualization • Build and maintain end‑to‑end dashboards to track KPIs and product performance • Investigate metrics that deviate from expectations and deliver actionable insights • Tell compelling stories with data that influence decision‑making Deep‑Dive Analysis • Leverage advanced analytical techniques (statistical modeling, experimentation, causal inference) to analyze user behavior • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that improve product and customer performance Opportunity Identification & Sizing • Support forecasting and opportunity sizing to inform goal‑setting and investment decisions • Help stakeholders evaluate trade‑offs and prioritize initiatives using data Basic Qualifications • 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics or data science • 3+ years of hands‑on experience using SQL for analysis • Strong experience with Python, R, or another statistical programming language • Experience building end‑to‑end dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar • Solid understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression analysis) • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing and experimentation • Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal oversight • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences Nice to Have • Experience in product, personalization, or digital consumer analytics • Familiarity with large‑scale data environments and cloud platforms • Background in ecommerce, media, or subscription‑based businesses Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or a related field • Master’s degree preferred Why This Role • Work on high‑impact analytics initiatives tied directly to business strategy • Partner with senior stakeholders across product and technology • Contract role with strong conversion potential • Team is actively hiring and moving quickly in the interview process This position is paying between 70-80/hour depending on experience, education and other factors.
