Data Analyst - Workdata – Data & AI | £30,000-£35,000 | Full-time, Office-based
About us We're a boutique Power BI consultancy transforming data into actionable insights for clients across retail, sport, and logistics. Join our growing team and work directly on live client projects from day one.
What you'll do
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and data models for real client datasets
• Write SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Create insight reports and present findings to clients
• Collaborate with senior consultants on end-to-end analytics projects
• Develop expertise across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
Essential requirements
• Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM degree
• Proven Power BI experience with portfolio examples
• Python coding experience OR Microsoft certifications (PL-300, DP-600, DP-700)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Professional-level English proficiency only - role involves extensive client communication and technical writing
• Must be local candidate within 45 minutes commutable distance to Kettering- not suitable for London commuters.
Desirable
• SQL experience and database knowledge
• Previous internship or project work with business datasets
• Interest in data visualization and storytelling
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts
