Job#: 3036350 Job Description: Client: Financial Services Team: TBA Job Title: Analytics Consultant 3 / Data Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid (3 days onsite) Contract Length: 12 months (potential to extend to 24 months) Pay Rate: $46 - $49 Top Requirements: • 4+ years of data analytics experience with strong SQL (MSSQL) skills • Experience with data analysis, cleansing, validation, and transformation (Alteryx, SSMS) • Strong experience with data documentation, data mapping, and requirements gathering Plusses: • Experience with data governance and metadata management • Familiarity with Google Cloud data tools (BigQuery, Dataplex) • Experience with SSIS packages and jobs • Experience working in Agile environments (Jira) • Strong data profiling and root cause analysis experience Job Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Analytics deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Analytics. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Gather and document requirements for data use cases in collaboration with stakeholders • Perform data analysis including cleansing, validation, and transformation • Design and define data models and relationships for scalable data solutions • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction • Support database enhancements and logical data design improvements • Document data lineage, metadata, and data governance artifacts • Identify and define requirements for data integrity monitoring • Analyze upstream system changes and assess data impact • Partner with technology and governance teams to align with enterprise data standards • Perform data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issues • Manage multiple workstreams and deliver data solutions independently • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
