Data Analyst

Our major television client is seeking a Data Analyst to support day-to-day master data governance operations with a focus on executing governed data creation, updates, validation, and workflow management. This is a highly execution-focused role operating in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment that supports Finance and IT stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working independently, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving organization. The Basics Duration: 39 weeks (about 10 months) Hours per week: Full-time hours expected, 40 hours/week Location requirements: Onsite role in Los Angeles, CA Top 3 Required Qualifications • 1 to 3 years of experience in data, finance operations, ERP support, or master data related roles • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), or other workflow-based data tools • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow governed processes precisely while working with structured data and Excel Other Qualifications A bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to work effectively across Finance and IT partners. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while coordinating with team members in other offices, managing multiple tasks, and adapting quickly in a fast-changing environment. Experience with master data governance, title or content data, or finance master data such as Chart of Accounts is a plus. Additional exposure to workflow routing, approval processes, reviewer coordination, high-volume operational queues, or go-live and hypercare environments is also beneficial. Key Responsibilities • Execute governed master data requests in Oracle Fusion EDM, including creation and maintenance of title and financial dimensions • Support title management requests by ensuring required attributes, hierarchy placement, and validation rules are met • Monitor workflow queues, manage request status, and coordinate rework or pushbacks with requestors and reviewers • Support Chart of Accounts and related dimension requests by following documented workflows and approval routing • Perform data quality checks and validate mandatory attributes to prevent downstream system and reporting issues • Assist with legacy mapping updates, data corrections, and controlled changes during cutover or freeze periods • Maintain basic documentation and job aids and reinforce standard processes with end users as needed • Track operational metrics such as request volume and turnaround time and flag risks or bottlenecks to program leads In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
