Role description
About the Role
We're looking for a Data Analyst who doesn't just answer questions, they ask better ones. You're naturally curious, analytical, and driven to understand the "why" behind the data. You enjoy uncovering patterns, challenging assumptions, and turning complex information into actionable insights.
This role combines traditional analytics with modern AI-enabled tools. You'll use SQL, Python, dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows to analyze data more efficiently, uncover meaningful trends, and help business leaders make better decisions. The focus is not on building AI productsβit's on using the right tools to accelerate analysis and generate deeper insights.
You'll partner closely with product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to identify opportunities, investigate anomalies, and surface the questions others may not think to ask.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable business insights
β’ Investigate unexpected changes in key metrics and identify root causes
β’ Build and maintain SQL queries, Python scripts, dashboards, and recurring reporting
β’ Leverage AI tools and LLMs to streamline analysis, reporting, and insight generation
β’ Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for business stakeholders
β’ Present data-driven perspectives to leadership and cross-functional teams
β’ Partner with business teams to define meaningful questions and success metrics
β’ Support data quality, documentation, and governance initiatives
Qualifications
Required
β’ 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar analytics-focused role
β’ Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions
β’ Strong Python experience for data analysis and automation
β’ Experience using AI/LLM tools to improve reporting, analysis, or business workflows
β’ Demonstrated ability to uncover insights and influence decision-making
β’ Strong communication and data storytelling skills
β’ Solid understanding of statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, regression, and cohort analysis
Preferred
β’ Experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
β’ Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
β’ Exposure to dbt, Airflow, or other analytics tooling
β’ Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and leadership teams
Work Authorization
This position is only available to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. At this time, we are unable to consider Corp-to-Corp (C2C), third-party, or vendor-supported arrangements.
