Role description
INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Hyundai team!
We are seeking a detail oriented Data Analyst to support our digital analytics team in collecting, validating, and reporting on website and campaign performance. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is eager to build hands on experience with web analytics platforms, dashboards, and data quality processes while learning how data supports marketing and business decisions.
The Data Analyst will work closely with senior analysts, strategists, and cross functional partners to ensure accurate data collection and clear reporting that drives insights.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Support the collection, organization, and validation of web analytics data across websites and digital campaigns
β’ Assist with building and maintaining recurring reports and dashboards using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Big Query, Excel, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms
β’ Perform basic analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and performance changes, escalating findings to senior analysts
β’ Help QA analytics implementations by validating tags, events, and data accuracy using debugging tools
β’ Document tracking requirements, metrics definitions, and reporting notes to support team knowledge sharing
β’ Partner with internal teams (media, creative, development, and strategy) to understand reporting needs and measurement goals
β’ Maintain data hygiene by checking for broken tags, missing data, or inconsistent metrics
β’ Support ad hoc analysis requests and presentation preparation for internal teams and clients
REQUIREMENTS
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
β’ 0β2 years of experience in web analytics, digital marketing, or data analysis (internships and relevant coursework included)
β’ Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms
β’ Working knowledge of Google BigQuery, including running basic queries and using it as a data source for analysis or reporting
β’ Working knowledge of SQL (BigQuery Standard SQL), including querying GA4 data exports for analysis and reporting
β’ Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
β’ Strong attention to detail and an interest in data accuracy and quality
β’ Clear written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
β’ Exposure to tag management systems (GTM, Tealium)
β’ Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio)
β’ Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (media, SEO, site performance, funnels)
β’ Introductory knowledge of Python, HTML, JavaScript, or how websites function
β’ Agency or multi stakeholder environment experience
