Data Analyst

Payrate: $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Summary: The Data Analyst & Business Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and delivering actionable insights through visualization and structured business analysis to support informed decision-making. This role bridges business and technical teams, aligns data insights with product and engineering strategy, and supports sustainability, operational excellence, and digital advancement across Company’s global sites. EDT supports Engineering Project Delivery across Plan, Design, Build, Test, Operate & Maintain, and Dispose, including Environmental Sustainability, Health & Safety. Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, and process data from multiple internal and external sources. • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations. • Interpret analytical results and present insights clearly to stakeholders. • Recommend strategies to improve data quality, accuracy, and governance. • Apply statistical methods and analytical tools to support decision-making. • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into process maps, business models, and technical requirements. • Define product vision, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics. • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and user needs. • Ensure alignment between data analytics initiatives, product strategy, and engineering outcomes. • Conduct business analysis across all sites, including business partners and affiliates. • Facilitate complex, cross-functional process mapping and improvement sessions. • Digital Transformation & Project Delivery • Analyze existing (“as-is”) business processes and help define future (“to-be”) processes. • Evaluate innovative technologies and digital solutions to enable business and site outcomes. • Partner with the Process Development, Operations, and Quality (POQ) Project Management Office to support business case development and rationalization. • Prepare complex documentation supporting major programs and initiatives. • Lead or support multiple concurrent projects while managing priorities and timelines. • Provide thought leadership, innovation, and best practices across digital engineering initiatives. • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with internal clients and managers. • Serve as a trusted advisor by demonstrating deep understanding of customer processes, priorities, and challenges. • Motivate, coach, and support project team members; serve as a role model. • Proactively share new tools, methods, and learnings with team members. • Creating striking visualizations to aid in data interpretation and usage. • Prototype, build, and customize analytical applications, often based off data scientist model output, to enable in-depth analysis • Constantly iterate with the business on analysis and dashboard design to ensure all necessary features and data are present • Partner with IS and Data Engineers to ensure that the models feeding the dashboards are robust, functional, and relevant to business needs • Exploring and evaluating new techniques to improve the data processing capabilities. Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree & 2+ years of experience (Engineering, Operations, OR Scientific) • Proficiency in Python and SQL. • Experience processing, filtering, cleaning, and standardizing large datasets. • Ability to restructure, pivot, and reform data based on current needs • Experience with Python data libraries such as Numpy and Pandas. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, and Spotfire. Desired Skills: • Passion for data exploring and organizing large datasets. • Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn new concepts, scripts, and methods. • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. • Ability to deliver work in an organized, and on-time fashion. • Ability to work in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments. • Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, R, Smartsheet, and Excel. • Experience leading planning, design, and implementation of cross-functional projects. • Strong project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
