Data Analyst

Description • This role is at the frontline of our Marketing and Growth Organization supporting campaign analytics and reporting for Business products and portfolios. Required Qualifications • Experience across the full spectrum of business analytics including problem identification, data sourcing/wrangling, query development, data exploration, data visualization, and campaign performance optimization recommendations & hypothesis-testing • Hands-on data analysis and strategic thinking skills • Strong analytical skills and expertise moving from business questions through raw data to answers, insights, and recommendations • Experience translating marketer questions into technical analysis, developing clear data-founded storytelling around actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Deep hands-on technical knowledge with SQL, including query creation, performance optimization, and complex joins of large data sets • Visually attractive and functionally efficient executive dashboard design and optimization in Tableau and/or Power BI • Experience working with large and complex datasets • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, Marketing Information Systems (MKIS), etc.) or equivalent experience • 2-6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience in management consulting • Experience within high tech, software, and/or wireless/telecom industry is highly desired • Proactive and anticipatory problem solver • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal) • Experience with executive storytelling, presentations Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Snowflake and GitHub • Prompt engineering in an analytics context • Experience with hypothesis testing, experimentation, A/B test analytics, multivariate testing, statistical significance • Identity graph experience Benefits Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
