Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, Databricks, and Azure technologies, with a preference for candidates who also have exposure to Kafka for real-time data streaming. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, analyze, and optimize data solutions that drive actionable insights. • Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting needs. • Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS). • Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for business decision-making. • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Kafka-based streaming data into analytics workflows. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards. • Document processes, data flows, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders Skills & Requirements • 3–5 years of professional experience in data analysis or related roles. • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics. • Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices. • Proficiency in Azure cloud services for data storage and processing. • Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with Python or Scala for data manipulation Benefits/Other Compensation This position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
