Data Analyst – Contract – Contract – $47/hr - Atlanta, GA The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available. Our client is seeking a Data Analyst in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, Databricks, and Azure technologies, with a preference for candidates who also have exposure to Kafka for real-time data streaming. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, analyze, and optimize data solutions that drive actionable insights. β€’ Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting needs. β€’ Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS). β€’ Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for business decision-making. β€’ Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Kafka-based streaming data into analytics workflows. β€’ Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards. β€’ Document processes, data flows, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders Skills & Requirements β€’ 3–5 years of professional experience in data analysis or related roles. β€’ Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics. β€’ Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices. β€’ Proficiency in Azure cloud services for data storage and processing. β€’ Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with Python or Scala for data manipulation Benefits/Other Compensation This position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
