Data Analyst / Analytics Specialist (2–5 Years Experience)
Contract | Hybrid (Boston, MA)
Pay Rate: Up to $35/hr
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Analytics Specialist to join a dynamic analytics team. In this role, you’ll turn raw data into meaningful insights that help drive smarter business decisions, improve processes, and support strategic initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real-world business problems, working with data end-to-end, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Work with data from collection through cleansing, transformation, and reporting
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support business needs
• Translate business requirements into clear analytical and reporting solutions (KPIs, metrics, logic)
• Partner with teams across the business to support data-driven decision-making
• Improve data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy
• Help identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline data processes
• Support advanced analytics and data science initiatives by preparing datasets
What We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business analysis
• Strong SQL skills (data querying and manipulation required)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Understanding of data structures, data quality, and reporting best practices
• Ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions
• Exposure to statistical analysis or data modeling concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments is a plus
Nice to Have
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related regulated industries
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting/automation tools
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams
