Role description
Data Analyst Remote(but need to come onsite to pick up laptop(Richmond, VA) Short term contract 2 months Pls note: This is a time sensitive role that has a tight timeline. They can choose to work full time (or part-time, 20 hrs/week) until the work is completed. If they work 40 hrs /week then the work could finish sooner and the engagement may end sooner. At this time it is slated to go to 6/30/26 (at the latest) ABOUT THE ROLE This engagement focuses on converting the BugTrack issue‐management Excel extract into a comprehensive, interactive Power BI dashboard for leadership visibility and operational decision‐making. The consultant will collaborate with the business, HIT, IT, and operational teams to define reporting requirements and translate them into a scalable data model and intuitive visualizations. Metrics will include (but are not limited to) total tickets opened/closed, aging of open tickets, ticket type and category distribution, priority trends, facility‐level insights, EPMO‐related tickets, and a dedicated AVATAR ticket dashboard (opened, closed, maintenance). The consultant will build automated refresh processes, apply data‐quality checks, and deliver a polished dashboard ready for leadership review. The resource may also be engaged in other Power BI work related to DBHDS as it arises if time in needed.
