Data Analyst (PL/SQL, ETL, Tableau)

Education & Experience Requirement • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field • Minimum 10 years of professional experience working in data analysis, database development, or reporting roles Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Data Analyst with strong experience in PL/SQL, ETL development, and Tableau. This role is fully on-site and focused on working directly with enterprise data systems to support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. This is not a reporting-only role. The ideal candidate understands the full data lifecycle, from source systems and transformations through final visualization. Key Responsibilities • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, functions, and packages • Analyze large datasets in Oracle or similar relational databases • Design, build, and support ETL processes to move data across multiple systems • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for data issues • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data extracts • Translate business and functional requirements into technical data solutions • Collaborate with business users, developers, and technical teams to define metrics and logic • Document ETL workflows, data models, and reporting definitions • Support ad-hoc analysis and ongoing production reporting Required Technical Skills • Extensive PL/SQL experience, including performance tuning and complex query development • Strong ETL experience using SQL-based or enterprise ETL tools • Advanced Tableau skills (dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, filters) • Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures • Experience working with large, enterprise-scale datasets Preferred Qualifications • Oracle database experience in production environments • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and reporting best practices • Experience supporting government or highly regulated environments • Strong communication skills and ability to work on-site with stakeholders
