Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid β 3 days/week onsite)

Role Mandate:
β’ Clientβs Cloud Customer Insights and Analytics team is looking for an Experienced Data Analyst who is passionate about using big data to deliver phenomenal customer experiences and inform business decisions.
β’ Understanding customer behavior through deep dive analysis, developing hypotheses and testing them through rigorous experimentation forms the core of our team.
β’ We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, is willing to own an analytical focus area and drive engagement with stakeholders and delivering impact.
β’ Additionally, you should have experience working in cross functional environments, leading change, and communicating effectively to executive and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
β’ Leverage clickstream data and transactional data to uncover insights based on customer journey
β’ Formulate hypothesis that could help unlock bottlenecks and drive better user experience on the platforms
β’ Collaborate with engineering, product and UX teams to identify the analytics instrumentation needed and validate the accuracy of the telemetry on staging and production environments.
β’ Provide analytics requirements for conducting A/B Tests and help with the test design, setup, detailed analysis and recommendation
β’ Develop compelling stories that convey the relevant synthesized insights to various internal partner audiences
β’ Partner with various cross-functional teams (Engagement & Retention, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Product, and Marketing) to drive growth in Clientβs Cloudβs Family of Products
β’ Leverage statistical and data science models to analyze and better understand the end-to-end customer journey, from acquisition and conversion to engagement and retention
β’ Utilize dashboarding tools such as Power BI and Tableau for descriptive and diagnostic analyses
Required Skills:
β’ 8 to 10 Years of industry experience in data/business analysis or a related field
β’ BA/BS in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields. Master is preferred.
β’ A strong proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages (Hive/Hadoop experience preferred)
β’ Familiarity with clickstream data (product usage) and big data platforms such as Hadoop
β’ 2-3 yearsβ experience in conducting A/B testing
β’ Experience with programming language such as Python, R
β’ Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI
β’ Statistical Modelling in Microsoft Excel or Power Pivot
β’ Understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining concepts, and a record of solving problems with these methods.
β’ Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship skills, and a strong team player
