Role description
Role Two: Data Privacy Analyst (Business Focus) Role: As a Senior Privacy Analyst, you will get the opportunity to be part of a Data Privacy team that is expanding its services globally and addressing privacy requirements in multiple international locations. The Data Privacy team is part of the Information Technology Services organization and works with all business units across Alaska Air Group, which includes Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Horizon Airlines. These values are part of the privacy practices, which you will be integral to implementing and maintaining across the organization. Responsibilities: β€’ Engage with and gather data from business units to develop and maintain a data processing inventory. β€’ Provide privacy threshold assessment recommendations to the Data Privacy Program Manager and Director. β€’ Conduct data protection impact assessments and/or privacy impact assessments. β€’ Develop training and awareness events with clear learning objectives and outcomes in partnership with the Data Privacy Program Manager and AAG Learning Managers. β€’ Perform contract and data processing agreement reviews and escalate risk to data privacy leadership consistent with SOP and knowledgebase. β€’ Manage internal inquiries and requests and provide timely privacy advice for projects and various AAG initiatives based on Data Privacy's knowledgebase. β€’ Manage external inquiries and complaints, and fulfill data subject requests based on internal knowledge base. β€’ Assist with implementing privacy practices associated with AAG's privacy policies and standards. β€’ Assist with developing and maintaining internal privacy communications, newsletters, reports and website content. Role Two: Data Privacy Analyst (Business Focus) Qualifications: β€’ Experience in the data privacy industry, primarily focused on executing work that is strategically defined by the Data Privacy Program Manager. β€’ Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years experiences in the privacy field. β€’ IAPP or ISACA certification. β€’ Experience working with legal counsel and implementing APAC privacy laws and regulations and EU GDPR. β€’ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills β€’ Strong oral and written skills. β€’ Ability to self-organize, manage work, and track and maintain work in Azure DevOps, privacy program management solutions, and SharePoint.
