Data Analyst Pay Rate: $50–$55/hrContract: 6 monthsLocation: Riverwoods, IL – Hybrid Overview We are seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role focuses heavily on working with complex data sets, resolving legacy data discrepancies, and transforming raw information into clear, consumable insights. You will support the visualization team by preparing, validating, and translating data — while another team member builds out the final dashboard designs. This position is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and explain data findings. Years of experience are flexible — strong skills and the ability to take initiative matter most. Key Responsibilities Analyze, validate, and reconcile legacy data inconsistencies across multiple sources. Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and document findings. Prepare and structure datasets for reporting and visualization teams. Support dashboard development by providing accurate, clean, and well-organized data. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data. Use Tableau, Snowflake, and ServiceNow data to build intermediate reports and insights. Develop clear, concise data summaries for business users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and quality across systems. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with: SQL Tableau (data prep, not final dashboard design) ServiceNow data Snowflake Excel (advanced) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to break down data problems for non-technical partners. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and proactively investigate data issues. Comfortable in ambiguous and evolving data environments.
