Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting business decision-making processes. This role requires proficiency in data visualization tools, database management, and programming languages, with a focus on delivering actionable insights through advanced analytics. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to optimize data workflows and ensure data integrity in alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends.
Perform comprehensive data analysis utilizing SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
Design and implement ETL processes using Talend, Bash (Unix shell), and other technologies to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for analytics solutions.
Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects aligned with SDLC best practices.
Conduct business analysis to understand operational needs and recommend data-driven strategies for process improvements.
Design and optimize database schemas in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms to enhance data storage efficiency.
Assist in database design projects involving linked data integration and database architecture planning.
Utilize VBA, Visio, and other tools for process automation and documentation of workflows.
Stay current with industry trends in analytics tools such as Business Intelligence platforms and emerging data technologies.
Requirements
Proven experience with data analysis skills including SQL, R, Python, ETL processes, and database design.
Strong proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Visio.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and SDLC processes.
Knowledge of business analysis techniques to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, Talend, Bash (Unix shell), VBA programming, and linked data integration.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
Strong understanding of analytics concepts including dashboard development, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
