Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst Location: 9120 Lockwood Blvd, Virginia (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically proficient Data Analyst to support the ITD FinOps team. This role focuses on analyzing, modeling, and forecasting IT financial data related to Azure cloud services and on‑premises data center workloads. The analyst will develop insights, dashboards, and cost optimization strategies to support leadership decision‑making and cloud migration initiatives. Required/Preferred skills • 5–7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, IT financial management, or cloud cost analytics • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field • Advanced Power BI skills, including: • Power Query • DAX • Dashboard & report development • Advanced Excel (financial analysis, modeling, pivoting) • Strong experience analyzing Azure cost management and cloud billing data • Hands‑on experience with Apptio • Ability to maintain and manipulate datasets from multiple sources (Azure Portal, Apptio, SharePoint) • Experience performing variance analysis and forecasting IT spend • Ability to translate technical and financial data into actionable insights for managers and technical teams Preferred Skills • FinOps certification or formal FinOps training • Experience with Azure Reserved Instances and capacity planning • Knowledge of server migration cost modeling • Understanding of enterprise architecture and strategic IT planning • Prior experience in government or large enterprise environments At Radiant Digital, we provide IT solutions and consulting services to help government agencies and businesses in the USA, Canada, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
