Role description
Title: Data Analyst
Duration: March – March 2027
Work Site: Remote
The Data Analyst will need to be able to manage large data sets, compile data from multiple sources, while ensuring data integrity and accuracy, clean data and have experience with various programs, such as ArcGIS, SAS, Qualtrics, etc. The Data Analyst must have experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and creating data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and maps, to support a written analysis. Lastly, the Data Analyst will need experience in project management and communication skills to meet project deadlines, conduct literature reviews to support analyses, create summarizations based on data analyses and collaborate with a Technical Writer to develop a strong draft of the needs assessment.
Required experience:
Data Management:
1. Manage and compile large data sets from multiple sources while maintaining integrity and accuracy.
1. Ability to clean data.
1. Skills in analysis, mapping, and survey software, such as Excel, SQL, SAS, Python, R, ArcGIS, Qualtrics, etc.
Data Analysis:
1. Produce geospatial workforce analyses and quantitative analyses.
1. Assess barriers to care at county and sub-county levels.
1. Analyze disparities in health outcomes and service availability.
1. Summarize data into tables, charts, graphs, and maps.
Project Management/Communication:
1. Perform literature reviews to develop qualitative and quantitative analyses.
1. Collaborate with a Technical Writer to develop written reports, summarize data analyses and produce recommendations for action with appropriate citations.
1. Ability to professionally engage with internal and external partners as necessary.
Education/Experience:
1. Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or related field preferred.
1. Experience with public health, access to care, community needs assessments, and HRSA grants preferred.
1. Experience working independently, meeting deadlines, and an ability to remote work effectively.
1. Performing related duties as required
