Program Analyst,
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: 1–2 days/week onsite)
About the Role
As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping program performance through analytics, reporting, forecasting, and operational insights. You will own SQL‑driven data analysis, contribute to KPI development, and help communicate the “story” of the program through clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
• Build and maintain key performance metrics, dashboards, and forecasting models to track program growth and customer acquisition.
• Perform SQL‑based data analysis using to identify trends across penetration, volume, CAPEX timing, and regional buildout performance.
• Develop analytically grounded narratives that support decision‑making and highlight program opportunities or risks.
Data Ownership & Quality
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, model, and validate large datasets.
• Conduct ongoing data quality reviews and partner with external data vendors to spot‑check or validate incoming data.
• Define and evolve unit categories (e.g., conduit installed lot, fiber vacant lot, household pass, active subscriber) to align with program maturity.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Technology, BI, Finance, and Control teams to support metric development, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
• Partner with regional operations teams to develop data ecosystems that support scalable reporting and planning.
Tooling, Systems, & Testing
• Support Salesforce reporting, data integration, and implementation testing efforts across the organization.
• Collaborate on ecosystem development for region-specific needs; GIS/QGIS mapping support optional (not required).
Program Strategy & Operational Support
• Own projections and mathematical modeling for hundreds of active projects to support CAPEX timing, buildout planning, and customer growth strategies.
• Contribute to KPI-driven program design and help operationalize metric-based improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, program analytics, or related fields.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write queries independently.
• Experience working with cloud-based analytics tools.
• Strong analytical reasoning skills, including financial/volume modeling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
• Demonstrated proactiveness, ownership, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Salesforce reporting or Site Tracker.
• Knowledge of Greenfield development or similar infrastructure programs.
• Exposure to telecom, fiber, or utilities environments.
• Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS)—helpful but not required.
• Background in program management, including prioritization, stakeholder coordination, and adherence to timelines.
