Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a range of projects including REFRAME, PRISM, and DAFS Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, database querying, and data modeling, with experience navigating cross-functional environments involving multiple stakeholders and data sources. This role requires a mix of analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to clearly communicate insights across both technical and non-technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights across multiple active projects
β’ Design, develop, and maintain data models including star schemas and data segmentation
β’ Use PL/SQL and other query languages to collect and manipulate data from various sources including Oracle and SQL-based databases
β’ Present analysis results in a clear, concise format to business users, technical teams, and stakeholders
β’ Translate data-related findings into understandable documentation and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences
β’ Participate in cross-functional work sessions and video meetings as needed, often on short notice
β’ Ensure high levels of attention to detail when working across overlapping projects or shared data sources
β’ Work with stakeholders to define data collection and validation processes, including when working with incomplete or inconsistent data
Required Qualifications:
β’ 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, working with large, complex datasets
β’ 3β5 yearsβ experience with data models, data mining, star schemas, and segmentation techniques
β’ Strong technical skills in databases (Oracle, SQL) and query languages (PL/SQL)
β’ Experience using XML, JavaScript, or other programming tools for data extraction or transformation
β’ Solid understanding of statistics and experience with statistical packages
β’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate data into business-friendly insights
β’ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience working on data analytics initiatives in public sector or government environments
β’ Familiarity with PRISM, ReFrame, or DAFS data environments
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
