Title: Data Analyst (Contract) - Job#5554 Location: Remote Job Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a range of projects including REFRAME, PRISM, and DAFS Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, database querying, and data modeling, with experience navigating cross-functional environments involving multiple stakeholders and data sources. This role requires a mix of analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to clearly communicate insights across both technical and non-technical teams. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights across multiple active projects • Design, develop, and maintain data models including star schemas and data segmentation • Use PL/SQL and other query languages to collect and manipulate data from various sources including Oracle and SQL-based databases • Present analysis results in a clear, concise format to business users, technical teams, and stakeholders • Translate data-related findings into understandable documentation and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences • Participate in cross-functional work sessions and video meetings as needed, often on short notice • Ensure high levels of attention to detail when working across overlapping projects or shared data sources • Work with stakeholders to define data collection and validation processes, including when working with incomplete or inconsistent data Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, working with large, complex datasets • 3–5 years’ experience with data models, data mining, star schemas, and segmentation techniques • Strong technical skills in databases (Oracle, SQL) and query languages (PL/SQL) • Experience using XML, JavaScript, or other programming tools for data extraction or transformation • Solid understanding of statistics and experience with statistical packages • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate data into business-friendly insights • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail Preferred Skills: • Experience working on data analytics initiatives in public sector or government environments • Familiarity with PRISM, ReFrame, or DAFS data environments • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
