Data Analyst

Payrate: $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Summary: The primary function of this role is to provide business intelligence support through repeatable and ad hoc reporting that enables informed business decisions. The role involves data mining, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on logistics, distribution centers, warehouses, and supply chain environments. Responsibilities • Data and business analysis • Data mining and extraction from multiple sources to build reports • Daily, weekly, and monthly report generation • Report automation and design • Maintain existing dashboards; conduct weekly and monthly analysis and reporting • Help drive critical business decisions through in-depth analysis and provide recommendations based on findings • Develop models that aid in decision-making • Identify opportunities for performance improvement • Publish standard and complex ad-hoc reports for different audiences Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments • Experience in cost analysis and reporting of key performance indicators • High proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint • Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment • Experience with SAP • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field • Results-driven with the ability to handle multiple projects Desired Skills • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Strong data mining skills and experience extracting and manipulating data from multiple sources • Critical thinking skills including analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving • Strong math, communication, and organizational skills • Excellent attention to detail • Comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Effective time management skills • Ability to independently follow and execute work assignments • Self-starter capable of working without supervision • Ability to interact with all levels of management, including executives Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $55.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
