Role: Data Analyst (SQL & Data Quality)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with deep expertise in SQL and RDBMS to support enterprise data quality and governance initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of dimensional modeling and hands-on experience with modern data observability and cataloging tools such as Bigeye and Alation. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of the DAMA Framework and experience in MDM implementations.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Querying & Analysis: Perform complex SQL queries against RDBMS and dimensionally modeled databases to extract actionable insights.
• Data Quality (DQ): Utilize Informatica DQ and Bigeye to monitor, profile, and improve data health and reliability.
• Data Governance: Support data cataloging and metadata management efforts using Alation.
• ETL/ELT Oversight: Analyze and validate data flows through ETL/ELT processes to ensure data integrity during MDM (Master Data Management) and RDM implementations.
• Framework Alignment: Ensure data management practices align with the DAMA (Data Management Association) body of knowledge/framework.
• Collaborative Analysis: Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical DQ rules and monitoring dashboards.

• Database Design: Extensive experience with Dimensional Modeling and data structures.
• Governance Tools: Hands-on experience with Alation (Data Catalog) and Bigeye (Data Observability).

• Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of the DAMA Framework.
• Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business requirements.
