Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Hybrid, Richmond Or McLean, VA Job Type: Contract Expected hours per week 40 hours per week Schedule Monday – Friday, Hybrid Pay Range $42-$44 an hour Job Description Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to understand data content, business requirements, and analytical needs • Independently design, create, and optimize Snowflake queries to support reporting and analytics initiatives • Leverage strong Python-based data analysis skills to develop scalable, fully automated data processes • Partner closely with the business to provide data consultancy, translating business needs into actionable insights through tools, metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing data pipelines and data solutions to ensure reliability and performance • Quickly learn and apply new technologies to support evolving initiatives and drive innovation • Conduct in-depth data analysis to deliver meaningful insights that inform business strategy and decision-making • Promote and uphold data quality management best practices, including metadata management, data lineage, and standardized business definitions • Build, deploy, and manage production-grade data pipelines, along with tools to monitor and report on data quality Required Skills • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication (soft) skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Apache Spark • Familiarity with AWS cloud services #INDPRO
