Data Analyst (Streaming & Reporting)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days on-site)
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Pay: $75-80/hr W2 ONLY - NO C2C
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Data Analyst with experience in both development and reporting to support our customer data and AI strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong data acumen, critical thinking skills, and the ability to bridge technical and process-focused responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with data streaming and batch processing, including real-time platforms such as Kafka.
• Support customer data intake, data quality, and governance initiatives.
• Execute SQL queries and create reports using Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
• Write and execute test scripts, simple test cases, and conduct manual data quality testing.
• Perform data ingestion, cleaning, and validation.
• Collaborate with teams on process, controls, and governance, providing clear communication and documentation.
• Support AI-related projects with a foundational understanding of AI concepts and terminology.
• Ensure awareness of data privacy regulations in handling customer data.
Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience as a developer, with transition into a data analyst or reporting-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and reporting/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and data processing buzzwords.
• Knowledge of real-time data platforms (Kafka) and batch processing pipelines.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to proactively ask questions.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and governance processes.
Preferred Traits:
• Self-starter who can work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage processes, controls, and data governance while supporting technical execution.
Schedule: Hybrid, splitting time between two locations, 3 days on-site.
