Data Analyst – Telematics Operations Berlin, CT - 5 Days Onsite Contract: 6 Months (Potential for Extension or Conversion) Pay: $20-22/hr W2 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM About the Role We are seeking an entry-level Analyst I to support telematics operations within the utilities/transportation services industry. This role provides frontline support for device management, driver assignments, data validation, and dashboard monitoring across multiple Area Work Centers (AWCs). Why This Role is Open Increased telematics footprint and growing support demand across Area Work Centers require dedicated analyst capacity to maintain device health, driver/device assignment accuracy, and alert monitoring. Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain telematics platform (Samsara or similar) • Manage users, drivers, devices, and asset data • Ensure consistent naming conventions and device health • Monitor dashboards and resolve unassigned trips or incorrect driver assignments • Configure and maintain alerts • Support troubleshooting for connectivity, driver pairing, and camera alignment • Maintain process documentation • Handle sensitive telemetry and driver data with strict confidentiality • Office-based role with ongoing support to field teams and Area Work Centers. Education & Experience • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred (Information Systems, Supply Chain/Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Analytics, or related field) • Strong attention to detail and professionalism required Technical Skills • Experience with Samsara or similar GPS/telematics platforms preferred (or strong aptitude to learn quickly) • Strong Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) • Ability to build and tune dashboards, reports, and alerts • Basic troubleshooting skills (hardware connectivity, driver pairing, mobile apps) • General understanding of GPS/IoT telemetry concepts (signal, firmware, data cadence) Soft Skills • Clear written and verbal communication • High level of confidentiality and sound judgment • Detail-oriented and organized • Responsive with a customer-service mindset • Calm and solution-focused
