We are looking for a Data Analyst I – Reporting Specialist to support reporting, data coordination, and database updates within a large enterprise environment. This is an entry-level, reporting-focused role ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data, maintaining accuracy, and supporting business teams through clear reporting and documentation.
📊 Data Analyst I – Reporting Specialist
Location: Owings Mills, MD 21117
Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days onsite (Tuesdays mandatory)
Duration: 6-month contract (possible extension)
Key Responsibilities
• Support data collection, data entry, and reporting activities across business teams
• Coordinate updates and changes to existing databases and reporting systems
• Assist in testing databases and reports, identifying errors, and ensuring data accuracy
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to understand data needs
• Maintain documentation, reporting decks, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
• Follow defined data processes, best practices, and quality standards
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships count)
• Basic understanding of databases and data management concepts
• Familiarity with ETL concepts (training or academic exposure acceptable)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Interest in working with data and supporting data-driven decision-making
