About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Analyst II to support enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics. In this role, you’ll work with large cloud-based datasets, troubleshoot data quality issues, build analytical datasets, and support BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.
Candidates with experience in utilities, energy, or regulated industries (especially with geospatial or time‑series data) are strongly valued.
What You’ll Do
• Analyze large, complex datasets in cloud environments
• Develop and maintain data models and transformation pipelines
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics
• Support dashboards and enterprise reports (Power BI, Tableau)
• Troubleshoot data quality and pipeline issues
• Validate data accuracy and perform root‑cause analysis
• Create charts/graphs using Python plotting libraries
• Translate business questions into efficient analytical datasets
• Work with geospatial data when needed (GeoTIFFs, spatial indices)
• Apply basic statistical methods (correlation, trend analysis, least-squares)
• Collaborate with data engineers and SMEs
• Document processes, manage version control (Git), and support data governance
• Contribute to improving ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration processes
What You Bring
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics with strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience working with cloud data platforms and supporting dashboards (Power BI or Tableau)
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality and pipeline issues and work with large datasets
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple data requests independently
Preferred Skills
• Python experience (including PySpark or visualization libraries)
• Experience with geospatial or time‑series data
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and version control
