Data Analyst 3 Months - Contract Location - Florida or 2nd choice is 100% remote based on EST time zone. Local candidates are preferred to come onsite as needed. Important to have strong SQL and Excel skills Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our sourcing team in data collection, management and reporting. This role will play a critical part in working directly with suppliers to collect data and ensuring accurate data management and reporting compliance. Data will cover a wide range of retail products and packaging over a large International supply base. The ideal candidate will have strong data handling skills, experience with reporting tools like Tableau, and have strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities • Data collection and follow up with suppliers. • Review data for accuracy and evaluate data range and outliers. Compare multiple data sets for information, Filter and Sort like items to identify points outside of the average or median. Follow up with suppliers as needed. • Responsible for conducting data analysis, developing reports and visualizations, and supporting the development of business intelligence capabilities. • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate data findings. • Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, patterns and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. • Upload supplier responses into shared database. • Work with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant data analysis and reporting. • Maintain clear and concise documentation of data analysis projects and processes. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance or related field. • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis. • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, data modeling). • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- you love a good puzzle! • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Meticulous eye for detail and commitment to data accuracy. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, or other data processing tools. • Knowledge of packaging materials and retail product categorization Required Education • BA in analytics, finance, accounting
