Role description
Pay Range: $23/hr. $25/hr.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for incident handling and investigation, while leveraging multiple tools to complete?in-depth root cause analysis?and high-judgment decision-making.
• Auditing and reconciling data integrity across multiple proprietary systems?(including the Event Management Tool) to ensure all claim instances are logged accurately and trace data origin.
• Independently crafting professional correspondence and interacting with external Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)?to seek information, resolve claims, and discuss investigation findings.
• Proactively identifying opportunities for process simplification and automation?and escalating trends or pain points occurring within the process.
• Working collaboratively with team members to navigate ambiguous cases and create frameworks to drive performance consistency across the team.
• Reviewing and processing property damage claims, ensuring accurate adjustments and adherence to relevant guidelines.
• Ensuring the accurate selection of appropriate evidence types for different aspects of the investigation.
• Submitting relevant evidence to DSPs for their review.
• Reviewing paid claims to identify instances where recovery of funds from the DSP may be warranted based on irrefutable evidence.
• Conducting further investigation into the lifecycle of claims post-payment to ensure appropriate evidence supports DSP responsibility.
• Using data aggregation tools (including Pivot Tables in Excel, during the transition) for analysis and reporting related to claims.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a relevant role (performing duties such as claims/case management, investigation, reconciliation, auditing, process improvement, risk assessment, etc)
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed root cause analysis on data discrepancies and operational failures.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with proven experience in professional communication with external contacts.
• Proficiency in all MSOffice products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
