Enterprise Data Analyst – Data Sourcing

Job Overview
We are seeking a senior Enterprise Data Analyst – Data Sourcing to join a high-impact data delivery team. This role focuses on building and supporting enterprise data pipelines that enable reporting, analytics, and business insights across a regulated financial environment. The ideal candidate brings deep banking-domain experience and excels in data mapping, transformation logic, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end data mapping from source systems to target data assets
• Translate business requirements into detailed mapping and technical documentation
• Develop, unit test, and review SQL-based datasets for enterprise data pipelines
• Define business rules, transformation logic, and derived fields
• Contribute to data models, ER diagrams, and context diagrams
• Participate in data architecture and mapping review sessions
• Provide technical guidance, performance optimization, and best-practice recommendations
• Mentor junior analysts and promote data quality and process improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple lines of business
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics or data sourcing roles
• Strong experience within the banking or financial services domain
• Expertise in SQL, with hands-on experience in Python and/or SAS
• Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
• Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, and data quality practices
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
