Job Title: Data Analyst Contract W2 only Hourly Pay Rate - $22.45 - $36.92 100% Remote Role Contract End Date - 4/2026 Job Summary The Marketing Planning Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data within our marketing systems, ensuring that data hygiene standards are met and contributing to effective decision-making across the organization. Skills and Qualifications: • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset. • Experience in data management and data quality practices. • Proficient with data management software and tools. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Additional Notes We are looking for candite with experience in: • Data modeling and visualization background • SAC, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tool • SAC, CRM, BW or ISP data maintenance • Marketing planning and budgeting tools and technology • Accounting/finance background, understanding financial posting implications and its impact on reporting: actual postings, service purchase orders, deferral schedules, accruals, forecasting • Marketing Operations, planning, performance or analytics experience • Communication and project management skills • Knowledge of planning and budgeting principles and process • Passion for technical problem solving and being a continuous learner • Data modeling languages a plus Key Responsibilities: 1. Reporting and Design: o Drive data democratization amongst our team and create dashboards for our stakeholders o Recommend ways to simplify our data visualizations to tell a concise, coherent story from different sources and data sets o Format and present dashboards that drive decisions and incite action by telling a story, while balancing the standardization vs. personalization needs of the business o Normalize data and translate to PPT Executive summary for Stakeholder readouts including monthly plan refreshes o Review and analyze event performance data, including registration numbers and attendance numbers + pipeline, and develop Exec Summary reporting view to maintain performance at Tactic level. 1. Allocation model development and testing: o Build and test different allocation models based on business assumptions and feedback to support ROI and performance initiatives o Provide feedback for cross-board projects and calculations as needed o Annual M&S budget planning process 1. Data Quality Audits: o Regularly review and audit data entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across regions. o Identify discrepancies, errors, or incomplete records and take corrective action as needed with the regional teams o Conduct spot checks on key data fields and records based on set metrics or quality standards. 1. Root Cause Analysis o Investigate the source of challenges to our end users while working with marketing planning data and reports 1. Cross-Team Collaboration: o Work closely with relevant regional and operations teams to ensure data consistency across marketing. o Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to resolve issues and discrepancies in a timely manner. o Serve as a resource for other teams on best practices for maintaining high-quality data. 1. Training and Support: o Offer guidance and training to other team members on data hygiene best practices. o Assist regional teams in onboarding new employees to the tool with regards to proper data entry and management techniques. 1. Process Improvement: o Identify opportunities for process improvement within data entry and management workflows. o Recommend and implement new practices that can improve data accuracy and efficiency.
