Data Analyst (W2 only)
β’ This is preparing data from multiple sources to be the used for batch processing which gets done by data engineering teams.
β’ Data could come from Oracle, Snowflake, flat files, AWS, dist databases or others.
β’ No BI component for this job so don't need any Tableau, Power BI .
β’ This is a good job for a smart data analyst who may want to move into data engineering

FI Product Delivery Excellence group is seeking an experienced and proven Data Analyst to join the Batch and Data Services team supporting FI Business Enablement data / data applications / batches. This role provides exposure to a wide range of applications across FI Business Enablement product portfolio. This position requires excellent analytical skills, superb communication skills and ability to work across a culturally and geographically diverse team and partners.
Sales data and analytics for internal reporting
β’ Once every 3 weeks - Weekend support
β’ Regular days 8:30-4:30
β’ On-call weeks deployments
What are the top three MUST have:
β’ SQL for querying (unique constraint issues, joins, analyzing failed jobs in the logs, etc)
β’ Oracle and Snowflake
β’ AWS S3 EC2
β’ Control-M for scheduling
β’ GITBub
β’ Jenkins for code deployment
Nice to have:

The Role
β’ FI Product Delivery Excellence group is seeking an experienced and proven Data Analyst to join the Batch and Data Services team supporting FI Business Enablement data / data applications / batches. This role provides exposure to a wide range of applications across FI Business Enablement product portfolio. This position requires excellent analytical skills, superb communication skills and ability to work across a culturally and geographically diverse team and partners.
β’ The role involves supporting FIBE data applications, ControlM batch environment, AWS Batch environment and underlying platforms.
β’ You will be applying analysis skills to identify root cause of Production data issues and batch cycle issues, and remediate the same
β’ You will be participating in on-call rotation for Production support, shared with other members on the team
β’ Β·You will facilitate change reviews and change deployments
β’ You will have opportunities to propose and implement process improvements to gain efficiencies of scale across the team in US and India
β’ You will be automating manual tasks, including partnering with the respective engineering teams
β’ You will be partnering with engineering and enterprise teams to maintain a stable production environment
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
β’ Bachelor's degree in a related field
β’ 5+ years IT experience, mostly in Production Support / Environment support role, primarily supporting Data and Batch cycles
β’ Β·Experience with supporting highly available and complex systems
β’ Support experience with Financial Services organization preferable
β’ Hands on experience on PL/SQL, Unix / Linux OS, AWS, Snowflake, Python and Scripting
β’ Cloud Administration background to support provisioning, rehydration and monitoring of cloud services preferably AWS.
β’ Hands on experience with log analysis and Batch monitoring with ControlM scheduling tool
β’ Solid data analysis skills to triage and remediate production issues. Experience with Incident management process to lead discussions to restore service and identify the root cause. Recommend and/or develop solutions to prevent the issue from reoccurring.
β’ Hands on experience on CI-CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, Artifactory, etc.
β’ Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to groups
β’ Ability to operate independently while maintaining focus on the overall project goal
The Team:
The team operates as a coordinated organization across United States and India offices, providing 24 X 7 Production support - incident management, problem management, change deployments and metrics reporting for multiple FIBE projects that are critical to FIBE business. The team works in close collaboration with Product specific Engineering teams, Business teams and Enterprise Infrastructure teams.
